Yisrael Beitenu (Israel Our Home) Party leader Avigdor Lieberman is continuing with his campaign mantra, “No Bituach leumi without sheirut leumi.
In a weekend campaign event in Akko, Lieberman pushed his new policy, primarily aimed against chareidim and Arabs, who by and large do not serve in the IDF or in any form of sheirut leumi.
Lieberman has in the past called for an increased tax burden on those who “do not serve the country” and now feels those same people should not benefit from Bituach Leumi since they “do not contribute” in his words.
