Report: Netanyahu Halts Pisgat Ze’ev Construction Due to White House Pressure

bibi1.jpgChannel 10 News reported on Wednesday that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has given the order to halt construction on 900 housing units in the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood of the capital due to mounting White House pressure.

While Pisgat Ze’ev is an integral part of the capital home to many many residents, the United States views it as being part of “occupied areas”.

In response to the Channel 10 report, officials in the Prime Minister’s Office state the prime minister never gave an order to halt any construction in Jerusalem.
