Indictment Filed Against Former PM Olmert

olf1.jpgState Attorney General Menachem Mazuz has moved ahead and filed an indictment against former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in the Rishon Tours and Talansky cash envelopes and investment case investigations.

The indictment marks the first time in Israeli history that a former prime minister faces criminal charges. An indictment is also filed against longtime Olmert confidant Shula Zaken. Charges include tax evasion and fraud.
