The CRC (Chicago Rabbinical Council) has published an alert, warning travelers regarding duty free shops in Tel Aviv’s Ben-Gurion International Airport.

According to the alert, as published by Jerusalem Kosher News (/), the only store that sold its chametz before Pesach is the James Richardson located at Gate D7.

This is also confirmed by Rabbi Shmuel Semelman on his website. Rabbi Semelman is a member of the Jerusalem Religious Council and a known expert on kashrus and whiskey and alcoholic beverages.

Problem is, “James Richardson” was open selling thier chametz on Pessach.

Is James Richardson a Jewish owned company? If not, then they can sell Chametz all year long. However, it is up to Jewish customers to avoid buying it.
