Today, 11 Nissan, Chabad-Lubavitch marks the 104th birthday of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory. In a tradition started by the Rebbe, the birthday became a day for celebration, stock-taking and new resolutions. Jewish communities around the world are honoring the day with increased Torah study—with special emphasis on the teachings of the Rebbe—intensified prayer and acts of charity and kindness……..
