According to France; Maale Adumim = Occupied Palestine

For government officials in Paris, Israel and the PA (Palestinian Authority) do not have to reach a final status agreement to define borders. France has already done so, defining the city of Maale Adumim as occupied Palestinian territory, Ynet reports.

An Israeli born to French parents applied for a passport, planning to travel to France to study. He received a temporary travel document, until his passport is ready, and as he traveled home to Maale Adumim, he realized that instead of his country being listed as Israel, it lists him as living in occupied Palestinian territory.

According to the report, Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman does not plan to sweep the matter under the carpet, but the Foreign Ministry does plan to send a letter of protest to French government officials.

  1. No country recognizes the West Bank as part of Israel. Except for Jerusalem, Israel does not consider the West Bank to be a permanent part of Israel.

  2. Didnt know there was a country Palestine yet created. Just realize that the entire world is standing strong with Palestinian demands.

#1 It should have been written, JORDAN….since they were the first sovereign entity over that area for approximately 40 years. Before that Britain and Turkey.
