The Sullivan County Legislature Thursday approved a contract with Arcadia Aviation, a Manhattan-based aviation company, to build up to eight corporate aircraft hangars at Sullivan County Airport in Bethel. The 40-year-lease deal will translate into $260,000 a year to the county.

County Manager David Fanslau told the MidHudsonNews that the plan will put the airport on the map. “To have the airport do what it was meant to do and position itself to be an airport that provides additional services that has been realized thus far,” he said.
