Hundreds of family members and friends gathered at Terminal One of Ben Gurion International Airport to welcome the first Nefesh B’Nefesh charter aliyah flight of the summer. As the new olim took their first steps on the tarmac as Israeli citizens, a troupe of IDF soldiers welcomed them as the crowd danced and waved, accompanied by musical arrangements. Emotions ran high with joy as the new olim, children, and even pets made their way up the steps into the terminal. Natan Sharansky and Rabbi Yehoshua Fass were among the dignitaries who welcomed the olim at the ceremony.
