While Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman remains firm, stating he will not support the state budget until such time a new draft law is passed, MK Moshe Gafne of the Degel Hatorah faction of Yahadut Hatorah is signaling calm. He does not believe early elections will be forthcoming as a result of the coalition crisis surrounding the draft law.

At the opening of a Knesset Finance Committee session which he chairs, a session addressing the state budget, Gafne explained �My evaluation is there will not be early elections�. He went on to explain this is based on discussions he has conducted with MKs from other parties.
