The Central Election Committee has leveled a 36,000 NIS fine on Shas for continuing to distribute campaign literature that was disqualified by the committee earlier.

It is forbidden to distribute literature promising brachos to voters who support a particular party.

Committee Chairmen Justice Elyakim Rubinstein explained that Shas seems to have ignored the committee�s instructions so the committee was compelled to fine Shas.
