Amid ongoing talks of a ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza, an exchange of gunfire took place on Monday morning, 9 Elul, as IDF soldiers returned fire after being targeted by terrorists near the Gaza border.

The IDF Spokesman Unit reports that there were no injuries, B�chasdei Hashem. Forces report they did hit one terrorist. It is also reported that the balloon incendiary devices from Gaza continue as well. A number of fires were reported in fields close to the Gaza border on Sunday.
