State Comptroller Micha Lindenstrauss� office is investigating allegations that some senior Israel Police appointments were made illegally, with posts given to family members of influential people.

State Comptroller officials confirm the investigation, stating a special task force has been appointed to address the allegations. Israel Police officials report that to date, no state comptroller officials have contacted them regarding the investigation.
