(Click on image to ENLARGE) Maran Rav Yosef Sholom [ben Chaya Musha] Elyashiv Shlita underwent surgery for the removal of his gallbladder at 13:30 local time. The procedure went well according to reports and he is resting at this time. Tefillos were held at the Kosel as the procedure was taking place.

HaGaon Rav Mordechai [Tzemach ben Mazel Tov] Eliyahu Shlita is reported to be in stable condition, recuperating from a heart attack last Friday night.

The two gedolim are admitted to the 10th floor of Shaare Zedek Medical Center.
