Police in New York City say they�ve recovered a vehicle that was stolen with a baby left inside in a car seat.
The SUV was reported stolen at about 7:15 p.m. on Monday in Brooklyn.
Police said the mother of a 1-year-old boy apparently left the SUV running while she went inside a store. They said that�s when a suspected car thief jumped inside and took off.
Authorities put out an Amber Alert asking for the public�s help locating the white Mitsubishi Outlander before it was discovered abandoned several blocks away in another Brooklyn neighborhood. Police said the child was left inside unharmed.
