During a joint press conference with Syrian interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa and French President Emmanuel Macron, President Macron said that he was pushing the U.S. to delay it�s withdrawal from Syria, lift sanctions on the nation, and that discussions were underway within the EU on gradually lifting sanctions against Syria.
