Family Of 12 Left Lev Tahor Cult And Has Arrived In Israel

The family of 12 (faces blurred) who left Lev Tahor and arrived in Israel.

A family of 12, parents and 10 children, has left the Lev Tahor cult in Guatemala and arrived in Israel, Ynet reported on Thursday.

The family is receiving support from social services and other government agencies.

After the family left the cult, they were housed in Guatemalan welfare facilities before leaving the country with assistance from government officials.

After arriving in Israel, the family was transferred to an absorption center.

At least 10 Lev Tahor families previously left the cult and returned to Israel.

  1. Just from the picture it looks like trouble. If there would be frum social workers, I may have hoped that it’s being handled properly. Why is this women standing next to a teenage boy?
