Secretary of State Marco Rubio met Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim Al Thani in Doha today, where he reaffirmed the strong U.S.-Qatar relationship, thanked him for efforts to end the Gaza war and secure the release of hostages, and reiterated America’s support for Qatar’s security and sovereignty, according to the State Department.
