The IDF has reportedly started recalling Chinese cars previously given to senior officers following security concerns, after earlier banning all Chinese vehicles from military bases over fears their sensors and cameras could collect sensitive information. So far around 700 cars—mostly the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro, which had been offered to lieutenant colonels and colonels with large families since 2022—are being recalled.
