The IDF says troops foiled an attempt to smuggle weapons from Egypt into Israel using a drone this morning. Soldiers monitoring surveillance cameras spotted the drone crossing the border, and troops from the Paran Regional Brigade shot it down. According to the IDF, the drone was carrying three assault rifles, which were handed over to police for further investigation.
