An Israeli Ordered A Cab In Paris; The Driver Was A Hezbollah Terrorist

An Israeli woman studying in Paris had a shocking experience recently after she got into a taxi and discovered that the driver belonged to the Hezbollah terror organization, Channel 12 reported.

The woman, named Sheva, told Channel 12, “A friend came to visit me, and we went out to celebrate together. We ordered a taxi through an app, and I saw that the driver spoke English—something that usually doesn’t happen here.”

“The conversation flowed easily and was pleasant. When I asked him where he was from, he said he was from Lebanon.”

Sheva said that she almost always tells people she is from Israel and doesn’t lie about it, and she described how the Lebanese driver’s face “turned white” when he heard that the passengers in his car were Israeli.

“It felt very uncomfortable. I told him that I understood he doesn’t like us,” she said.

She said that the driver quickly clarified that he has no problem with Israelis, but “he has a problem with Bibi and Ben Gvir,” and began talking politics.

“When I asked what he thought of Hezbollah, because to us it’s a terror organization, he responded, ‘I’m from Hezbollah.’ At that point I was scared, just like he was scared when I told him I was from Israel.”

“There were about seven minutes left in the ride, and I decided that I had been given a mission, and I tried to do a bit of hasbara (advocacy),” she said. “We talked about October 7th, and I told him that three of my friends were murdered at Nova.”

“It was scary, but I wanted to get him to see our side too. At the end of the ride, he gave us his number and offered to drive us whenever we needed—but we gave him a fake number,” she concluded.
