Thanks to an incredibly fast response by Flatbush Shomrim, two suspects were arrested by the NYPD for stealing a motorized moped near Ave M and East 17 Street. One suspect was caught near East 14 and Ave N, and the second near Ave L and East 17.

Authorities say there is a growing social media trend showing teens how to hotwire mopeds and post videos afterward. The NYPD told Flatbush Scoop that at least two scooters were stolen in Flatbush on Sunday.
