On Wednesday, the third night of Chanukah, two third-grade classes from Talmud Torah “Merkaz” in Bnei Brak were privileged to enter the home of HaGaon Rav Shraga Steinman for a special bechina on Maseches Rosh Hashanah.

The talmidim arrived together with the menahel, HaRav Yitzchok Polk, and were warmly received by the Rosh Yeshiva. Rav Steinman personally tested the young talmidim with a wide range of questions.

Rav Steinman expressed visible excitement and deep nachas at the impressive clarity, fluency, and depth of understanding demonstrated by the children, despite their young age.

At the conclusion of the bechina, Rav Steinman distributed Chanukah gelt to each talmid in the form of a special coin, as a token of bracha and appreciation for their ameilus, hasmadah, and dedication to reviewing and mastering the masechta. The coins were given together with warm words of encouragement and personal brachos to each child.
