A Hamas tunnel stretching hundreds of meters beneath southern Gaza’s Khan Younis has been destroyed by Israeli combat engineers, the military said.

The IDF reported the tunnel contained three rooms used by terrorists and was stocked with weapons, including 45 grenades, Kalashnikov rifles, RPGs and launchers, explosive devices, and other military equipment. The tunnel, discovered on the Israeli side of the Gaza ceasefire line, and was demolished by the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit.
