Sen. Bill Cassidy has opened an inquiry into the Mamdani administration over its move to rescind the IHRA antisemitism executive order, warning it could put federal funding at risk.

•⁠ ⁠Cassidy is demanding to know whether City Hall consulted federal agencies before taking action.

•⁠ ⁠He is also seeking clarity on the mayor’s stance toward the BDS movement — and asked Mamdani to respond by Feb. 19.
