Guatemala Pesach Program Canceled After Hotel Allegedly Breaches Contract

Pesach program in Guatemala has been cancelled.

Organizer Ziv Tamir says the hotel allegedly breached the contract and unexpectedly cancelled the program, claiming it had a “sold out program.”

Tamir says the situation was not in his control and described it as “God’s plan.” He apologized to those affected and said he will try to assist participants in finding alternative places to go for Pesach.

He added that despite the setback, he believes this year will still be the “greatest Passover since Moses.”

It remains unclear how refunds will be handled and how many participants may lose money on non-refundable airline tickets.
