Judge Blocks Vaccine Rollback, Pauses ACIP Changes by RFK Jr.

A federal judge has temporarily blocked the U.S. government from reducing childhood vaccine recommendations, ruling that Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. likely violated federal procedures when restructuring a key vaccine advisory panel. The ruling pauses efforts to scale back recommendations for vaccines including flu, rotavirus, hepatitis A and B, meningitis, and RSV, and places the newly restructured Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) and its decisions on hold while the case proceeds.
