AI-Generated “Rabbi Goldman” Amassed Millions of Followers Peddling Antisemitic Tropes

An artificial intelligence-generated character posing as a New York rabbi has attracted millions of followers across social media platforms by packaging age-old antisemitic stereotypes as financial wisdom, exposing a glaring failure by social media companies to police AI-generated hate content.

The character, known as Rabbi Goldman, presents as a caricature of an Orthodox rabbi and follows a simple, algorithm-optimized formula: open with cryptic suggestions of secret knowledge held by Jewish people, deliver a cascade of conspiracy-laden commentary, and close with a pitch for paid financial guidance available on his website. Among the claims appearing in his videos are that the moon landing was faked, that the U.S. government is moving toward total control of its citizens, and that billionaires stage yacht sinkings for insurance fraud, all of it framed as wisdom long known to “the Jews.”

His Instagram account had amassed over 1.5 million followers before being removed Sunday night. The same page remained active on Facebook, which shares an owner with Instagram, with roughly 180,000 followers and thousands of interactions per post.

The commercial operation behind the character is straightforward. Rabbi Goldman’s website sells a 62-page PDF titled “How to Make and Invest Money Like the Jews” for $9, claiming more than 4,000 purchases. The document consists largely of generic, AI-generated financial advice dressed in Jewish framing and occasional Talmud references, with lines such as “Jews do not day trade… We buy the market, the entire market, and we hold it indefinitely” that dispense with subtlety entirely.

The formula borrows heavily from what analysts call the “manosphere” playbook, a cluster of online influencers who blend hyper-masculine self-help content with misogyny and coded prejudice to cultivate audiences of disaffected young men.
