U.S., Iran Near 14-Point Draft Deal to End War, Restrict Nuclear Program and Reopen Strait of Hormuz

The U.S. and Iran are closing in on a one-page, 14-point memorandum of understanding to end the war and launch broader nuclear negotiations.

The proposed memo includes a 5-year ban on uranium enrichment, a cap at 4% thereafter, a BAN on underground nuclear facilities, a commitment to never pursue nuclear weapons, enhanced nuclear inspections, and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
