The Senate is officially banning lawmakers and staff from betting on prediction markets, with Minority Leader Chuck Schumer warning against turning Congress into a “casino.” The move is already fueling renewed calls on Capitol Hill to take it a step further and ban members of Congress from trading stocks as well.
