The IDF announced that Command Sergeant Major (Res.) Alexander Glovanyov, 47, of Petach Tikva, a heavy transport vehicle driver in the 6924th Transport Battalion of the Transportation Center, was killed during combat near the Israel-Lebanon border on Sunday.
He was killed by an explosive FPV drone launched by Hezbollah.
Glovanyov, 47, from Petach Tikva, is survived by his wife and two children, an 8-month-old daughter and a 15-year-old son.
Later on Monday morning, the IDF announced that three soldiers were lightly injured in a Hezbollah FPV drone attack in southern Lebanon this morning.
Three reservists were wounded on Shabbos by FPV drones in the Shlomi area near the border.
