DOJ Charges Dali Ship Operator Over Deadly Baltimore Bridge Collapse


The DOJ has charged the Singapore-based operator of the Dali cargo ship over the deadly 2024 collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge.

•� � Prosecutors say the company fostered unsafe conditions aboard the vessel and failed to properly maintain critical ship systems.

•� � Investigators allege the Dali suffered repeated electrical blackouts before losing power and crashing into the bridge, killing six workers.

•� � Federal authorities also accuse company officials of falsifying safety inspection records and misleading investigators after the disaster.
