Shlomi Mayor Gabi Naaman warned residents Monday night that “the war will intensify even more tonight and in the coming days,” urging heightened vigilance following a meeting with IDF Northern Command chief Maj. Gen. Rafi Milo amid the recent surge in Hezbollah drone attacks.

Naaman also said he requested that authorities shut down schools and move to remote learning due to the escalating security situation in northern Israel. At the same time, footage from Beirut showed residents fleeing areas amid fears of possible Israeli airstrikes.
