UPDATE IN FLATBUSH: The victim in the shooting near Avenue U and East 13th Street has been located and was transported by EMS with an NYPD escort to Coney Island Hospital, where the victim is reported to be in stable condition. Preliminary information indicates that one individual may have shot another. The NYPD is continuing its investigation on East 14th Street between Kings Highway and Avenue R, where officers recovered the vehicle the victim reportedly used to flee the scene and are interviewing the driver. NYPD Aviation remains overhead assisting with the search, while Flatbush Shomrim is on the scene.
