HY”D: The IDF announced the deaths of two soldiers in separate incidents in southern Lebanon.

Capt. Shachar Gamla, 23, a deputy platoon commander in the Egoz Unit, succumbed to wounds sustained in a Hezbollah explosive drone attack on Thursday night.

In a separate incident, Sgt. Ohad Yaari, HY”D, 21, of the Givati Brigade’s Shaked Battalion, was killed on Friday in an accidental discharge. The incident is under investigation by the military police.
