Nineteen of the detainees from the protest outside the home of High Court Justice Noam Sohlberg are classified as draft evaders and are expected to be transferred in the coming hours to the Military Police for further detention and possible prosecution through the military justice system.

Most of the remaining detainees were released to house arrest under restrictive conditions.

The court approved the release of 48 suspects to eight days of house arrest, subject to a NIS 1,000 bond and additional restrictions, including bans on contact with certain individuals and participation in gatherings.

Police are expected to request an extension of detention for only four detainees on alleged charges of vandalism.

The majority of the detainees were imprisoned for a week despite the lack of evidence that they had committed any offenses.
