CENTCOM announced that American forces have completed an additional round of self-defense strikes against multiple targets across Iran at President Trump’s direction.

CENTCOM said the strikes targeted Iranian military surveillance capabilities, communication systems, and air defense sites. U.S. Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy assets fired precision-guided munitions at targets deemed a threat to U.S. forces and international commercial shipping in regional waters.

CENTCOM said the operation was carried out in response to Iran’s “unwarranted and continued aggression.”
