Supreme Court Rejects Carter Page Appeal, Ending Lawsuit Over Russia Probe Surveillance

The Supreme Court declined to hear an appeal from former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, effectively ending his lawsuit against former FBI Director James Comey and other officials over surveillance conducted during the Russia investigation.

•Page argued the FBI obtained a FISA warrant through a process later found by a Justice Department inspector general report to contain multiple errors and mistakes.

•Lower courts dismissed the lawsuit, ruling it was filed after the statute of limitations had expired.

•The Supreme Court rejected the appeal without comment. Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson did not participate in the case.
