Brad Lander’s Record: Flip Flopping On Israel

It is one thing to disagree with Israel’s policies. It is another to attack the very foundation of Jewish survival.

Brad Lander is being sold as a kinder, more accepting candidate. But his record reveals a troubling truth. As New York City Comptroller, he aligned himself with the BDS movement, distancing himself from protecting Israel’s investments.

After October 7, when most of the world saw pure evil unleashed on innocent families, Lander condemned Israel’s justified response, even before hostages were freed, before justice was served. He marched at rallies where Israel was denounced as an apartheid state. He partnered with Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, a group that opposed security grants that protect our shuls.

And now, he says he would vote to defund Iron Dome and oppose weapons sales to Israel.

If elected, Lander would likely be the only Jewish Congressman from New York City, yet one whose policies threaten Jewish survival itself. It would be a national embarrassment to have a Jew in Congress who treats Israel as an afterthought and sees Jewish safety as negotiable.

We must call hypocrisy by its name.

Our vote this June is not just a rejection of his campaign—it’s a defense of truth itself. Because in the face of rising anti-Jewish hostility, the greatest danger is not the enemy outside—it’s the one who speaks our language while working against us.
