Just days following elections for 29th Knesset, authorities moved in on Monday morning 3 Nissan and destroyed three homes in Givat Assaf, a community in the Binyamin Regional Council area of Shomron. In addition, two buildings, one used as a home, were destroyed this morning in Givat Ohz Tzion, near Givat Assaf.

The Tatzpit News Agency quotes Givat Assaf residents saying the three homes destroyed belong to the founders of the community and as a result, 28 persons are without a roof over their heads. They lament the timing and the destruction, insisting the razing of the homes was not justified since they were sitting on legally owned property.
