Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces shot and killed a driver to tried to ram his vehicle into PA leader Abu Mazen�s motorcade in Ramallah on Tuesday.

PA officials report that while a number of Abu Mazen�s advisors were in the motorcade, the PA leader was not. They stated they are however certain this was an attempt on his life.

The incident is under investigation.
