President Barack Obama will address the nation next Tuesday about Afghanistan policy from the US Military Academy at West Point.

The president�s address will talk to the future Army officers in an 8 p.m. address.

His press secretary told reporters at the White House that the country has been there for nine years. �We�re not going to be there another eight or nine years.�

It is expected the president will announce the addition of between 20,000 and 40,000 more troops infused into Afghanistan, bringing to 100,000 the number of American troops there.
