David Segal, a resident of Yishuv Yakir in Shomron, sent a photo of his son Levi as he received his purple Givati Brigade beret at an IDF swearing-in ceremony to Jonathan Pollard. Mr. Segal instructed Pollard to carefully look at his son�s kippa, which was visible, displaying Pollard�s prison number.
David explained that both he and his son wear kippot displaying Pollard�s prison number as a sign of solidarity with him and the sacrifice he has made on behalf of the Jewish People.
