A 50-year-old man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Route 9 in Lakewood on Friday night.

The man was returning from Shul when he was struck while crossing Route 9 near Presidential Estates.

Lakewood Hatzolah found the man in critical condition, and transported him to a landing zone where he was airlifted to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

He is listedoing in critical condition.
