I mentioned the “couple meal” thread here to a friend yesterday and he just sent me to a link where somebody posts quick Questions and Answers from Rav Shlomo Aviner, Rosh Yeshivas Ateret Cohanim/Ateret Yerushalayim, a religious Zionist Yeshiva in Yerushalaim.
Here is one of the questions:
Q: I heard that during the first year of marriage it is forbidden to invite guests for Shabbat?
A: It is permissible, but do not over-do it.
So, who asked?

Why do you need to know who asked? The title of this website is the yeshiva world. Presumably, that includes tzioni yeshivas also. I took it to refer to yeshivish wold, but in reality, that’s not what it’s called.
