Reply To: What's the argument against having a Madina?

For the record: There are serious questions regarding the validity of all that is written in sefer ‘kol hator’. Rav M. Sternbuch mentions this in a teshuva. It seems that someone who had an agenda of legitimizing the state attemted to attach the haskama of the Vilna Gaon to his fabrications. Those who are familiar with the Vilna Gaon’s writings are not fooled.
