hey what’s a coffeeroom party without a moderator? you moderators are 15 minutes late and you coffees are getting cold. (don’t yell at me if they’re wrong – i didn’t make them.)

squeak – i’m up. i actually am up from REALLY early because i wasn’t feeling well and i now have a body temperature of 102 degrees Fahrenheit. it sucks.

But seriously, don’t let the CR get in the way of your shalom bayis. If your husband’s upset that the food is cold because you’re spending too much time in the CR, that could ch”v escalate into more serious arguments so be careful.

I missed the party sorry… I didnt even have time to eat my full fat full sugar coffee yogurt (no joke I am starving but whatever. Came to say good shabbos and toodaloo- gotta run Good Shabbos. Party’s over friends till after shabbos!

ames, you wanna be a good wife? make it for him! the poor guy had to live without chulent till now? i really feel for him.
ames: in my house we put potato kugel in the chulent!!! it tastes great, just place a peice of potato kugel on top of the rest of the chulent inside the pot/crock pot!!!

I remember someone doing such a thing once but perhaps he had kishke inside the cholent? The technique might be the same – make the kugel and cover it with aluminum foil while it cooks in the cholent pot. I don’t eat potato kugel though and I could be way off.
ames you don’t make the kugel in the chulent you make the kugel separately and then put a piece(or 2) in the chulent.
ames:yeah your poor husband without chulent!!!! in all my years, i never went without chulent on shobbos, besides for when yom kippor feel out on a shobbos!!!!
