Glad they catch on!!! (finally, after three years… maybe the rest would start coming out… ever so slowly)
If women were not suppossed to learn with the daf yomi, then why are women seats at the siyum hashas?
If men don’t birth, why do they go along…
RD: Because the mitzvah for women is to support the learning of their husband and sons. They come to celebrate for their husbands and sons who they supported their Limud Torah of.
Then women are honored because they are supporting the husbands learning by being away from them.

To celebrate with the men because women help the men learn.
Similar to this is having friends over for a birthday party. It’s my birthday not theirs, but they can celebrate with me.
See the famous Yechidus of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and the Gerrer Rebbe for more. This topic is discussed there.
