Nurse- can you work in Canada with your RN?August 24, 2009 12:16 am at 12:16 am #1223208
Mazel tov!August 24, 2009 12:24 am at 12:24 am #1223209
HidingUnderCover, the license I’m getting actually only certifies me to work in NY state. To even work in another state, depending on the state, I’d have to take other certifications/exams, etc. I’m not sure what. So no, it definitely wouldn’t transfer to Canada, though I don’t know what additional tests I’d have to take.August 24, 2009 1:06 am at 1:06 am #1223210

And now for my favorite chassune joke:
The son of a Federal Koilel yungermann became engaged to the daughter of his father’s “business” partner who learned in a similar koilel.
The father wished his son: “May you be zoiche to burn down binyonim adei ad!” And the kallah’s father reminded the couple: “Don’t forget to take out a good insurance policy on your bayis neemon beYisroel!”
Needless to say, you are not from such illustrious, or should I say illuminating, stock and will not receive or chas vesholom live up to such brochos!September 10, 2009 2:39 am at 2:39 am #1223222
