I wanted to know why every time I post something it takes a long time for it to show up or it never comes in at all is it just me who this happens to??
All posts are moderated, and until an available moderator has a chance to review and approve or decline a post, no one can see it (except the original poster as a pending post.)

If you post something too controversial, it will not be posted. The moderators have been either heavily editing posts or not allowing the posts to go through, if they deem them to be unworthy, for whatever reason. That is their prerogative, though I wish they would allow us to be adults.
You have other options out there.

How come when I post some thing if I am logged in, the part of the post where it says your username is yellow? However, when I am not logged in, it is regular. Also, sometimes right after I post, the post shows up on the screen, but if I exit and then come back to it, my post is not there? Am I the only one?
When you see a post in yellow, it means the post is pending moderator approval, and only you can see it while you are logged in — no one else. Once (and if) it is approved by an available moderator, it will no longer be yellow and anyone can see it (whether logged in or not.)

The fooling around is mostly me, but there is a very good moderator on also right now, approving posts rapid fire.

Moderator’s posts are by definition moderate.

Yeah, the cr is dead. Maybe its cuz of the power outage in lakewood.
Nothing I post, ever makes it through. The moderators squelch any honest conversation on any topic of intellectual weight. G-d forbid people here actually do some serious thinking about issues I guess.
A few of my posts get through, but usually those end up edited; ah, remember the old days.

for me the cr room is never dead, i check it once in a while, but i’m not waiting for people to post. All of those who are go find something to do! Sometimes though i am curious if someone responds to waht i wrote.
Do people get banned altogether? Can one tell if that is the case?
if you are “blocked” it will show up under your screen name in previous posts. You can tell. You cant post, you can’t even access the coffee room at all, even to read the posts.
Mod, can you PLEASE take away that subtitle under my pen name? It’s making me a bit nervous….

Can one be banned from the main YW news board, and not from the CR?
