Sorry it took so long for me to respond but Im on different time than you, my computer broke, AND mods it took me a half an hour to sign in today cuz id log in, it would load to the CR page again and it would say Im not logged in….evantually I got to log in by clicking the log in link at the bottom of each thread that says “you must be a member to post or log in”

ANYWAYZ! I am very happy you are back, I completely respect you desition, it is your emunah and I know its hard to survive without the CR…..I did it once for a whole week….

I noticed a few things about your father, I looked for a thread but could not find it, I saw that you deleted it, and its OK to vent here and delete it afterwords…Ive done it too! Plus I heard once:

“Everyone is truly going through something, some just hide it more than others”

Whatever you are going through, I wish you Hatzalacha and you should know that Im davening for you…..

I beleive every teen here uses the CR as an outlet- and thats OK! Its better than other outlets I can think of (cutting, getting drunk…very sad these days :(….)

Im very glad you think Im one of those ‘special ppl’ that you thought to mention!!!!

?HUGS!!!!? I missed you!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you saw my posts on your goodbye thread!!!!

To get this back on topic – TAOM, while I haven’t gotten to know you that well, as our paths haven’t crossed that much in the CR, you seem to be a grounded mature teen, and I appreciate your perspective on things going on here. I’m glad you chose to stay – just be careful and try to limit the amount of time you spend here. And looking at your previous threads, I can definitely relate to some of the things you’ve been through. Being slightly older than you, and I don’t want to sound “preachy” or anything, but keep your chin up because things will get better! I promise! And keep in mind, you will only gain from the negative experiences if you choose to. It’s best not to waste the opportunities, as hard as it can be. And as difficult as it is to swallow, remember this quote: “You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it”. I seriously live by it! Hatzlacha with everything!!!

I wonder if she’s even seen this thread…

I don’t know how old she is. And yes, I’m older than you too. I usually post immaturely (cuz the CR is the only place I can do that without getting yelled at for my immaturity) so you all probably think I’m younger than I actually am.

And she probably did not see this thread yet as she’s still in sitting in school, the poor thing…

Oh my gosh, thank you so much Shopping and streekgeek! You’re both the sweetest things!!! I am going through some pretty insane things right now… Your support means a lot to me. With Hashem’s help, things will eventually get better, though not anytime in the forseeable future. BH for the cr to keep me sane! Look, at least I showed Hashem that I care about my relationship with Him enough that I was prepared to give the cr up for it! But right now, it looks like my test is no longer emuna in Hashem because w.o my belief that there is a point to all this pain and I will get paid back someday, I wouldn’t survive and so I’m not going to be doubting Hashem now.

BTW- Shopping, aren’t you still a teen in school? I am, and btw I’m 15. School is sooooo insane these days! I get home at like 6:30! Not exaggerating! Oh well, if only that would be the hardest thing in my life right now. To all the normal teens out there- PLEASE appreciate your normal lives!

Art-of-moi I agree comptley with what you said to all the normal teens I say that allthe time! I feel for you and understand you I’m going thru very hard times too…it’s very difficult!

So how do I ask mod to delete something? I tried asking but nothing happend..

I missed all this because I didn’t check the cr in a couple of days. But I’m sorry art of moi that life is so tough! I’m here and I believe in you so much!

I wish there was some way we could really talk- like a private convo with all the teens experiencing emotional issues now… Just saying.

i’m back! too tempting…… and i hope i’ll only do good stuff here…

art-of-moi, i wish i can give you my phone number, and speak to you face to face. i know what you’re going through, i’ve been there, done that. stay strong! keep your chin up! create stepping stones out of your stumbling blocks.

i teach girls your age, so i really do understand where you are coming from. you can ask the mods for my email…..

    and daven, it always works!

also, keep looking out for proofs of how hashme loves you, because he’s your father too. when things go tough, straighten your back and think how your father in heaven is doing this because he truly loves you.

one little example of when i make t a point to see his love,

i was once shopping and wanted to get a new lipstick, and th mac one that i wanted was 25$ and i could not afford it at that time. (men, warning:next sentence might make you snort. )

but it was something that i really wanted and felt would make me happy. i was really upset not to get it and was upset the whole afternoon. (i was also upset because my dad is well able to afford it but chose to ignore my existence when i needed him..)

later that day, i was in another store and bought a bag of candy and when i came home, i saw it was open. so i went back to return it, and they asked to see my receipt. when i gave it to them i noticed on the back it had a coupon for a few free lipstick, the exact one that i wanted….

look for it and you’ll find so many hugs that he keeps sending you in all different ways…

and one more thing, “life is like a roller coaster, it has its ups and downs, but, its your choice to scream or enjoy the ride”

and, “i am grateful to the difficult people in my life, they have shown me how i don’t want to be”

No Ive posted my age once or twice…

Cool, TAOM never thought Id meet someone my age here!!!!!!! Wow…come to Israel where they end at 2:30 every day and sometimes even earlier, my <3 rlly goes out to you.

Ive had it hard too! But keep your chin up, beleive in Hashem and tell him EVERYTHING and you’ll do fine…you can see Hashems hand if you really look for it. Example today I won a lottery (for something I REALLY WANTED) I never win ANYTHING and I didnt want to be entered (long story why….) but I told myself Ill enter and Hashem will decide if I should win.

My friends said Hashem must really love me….

t-a-o-m- i wanted to give you chizuk to show you that there are incredible people in this world! My zaidy is a holocaust survivor and he has spoken to thousands if not millions of people across the world. He saw the horrors of the holocaust yet his nickname today is SMILEY! you heard me! SMILEY!

His story has alot to do with chessed, and this was my main point. Often when we are caught up in bad things in our lives, Hashem is sending us messages and they can be very hard to read and understand. If you keep trying and can’t seem to figure it out, try to do a hobby or activity to get a clearer mind with. If you arent already doing so, join a chessed. something you feel like YOU will benefit from giving and THEY will benefit from your giving. If you feel you are lacking time, do something small like find out if there is a lonley lady near you who needs chizuk. or if there are sick children that need toys and start a toy drive. or bake challahs and give them to a family who cant afford. There are so many things I can think of and I’m sure (you sound like an incredibly sweet and amazing girl) you will find where your strength lies. Chessed allows for feelings of positivity and happiness. A smile costs nothing!

So my suggesntion is, get involved! Do something for someone else and take the spot light off of you for an hour a week! Hatzlacha 🙂

    OURtorah-

wow, you’ve really started posting often- that’s the way to go, pal! As for my speaking to someone older than me- I’ve got lots of adult friends guardyoureyes.com and I’ve been getting a lot of support from them. I don’t feel comfortable spilling my life story to someone in real life. It’s just easier to pretend life is wonderful. Thanks for caring enough to ask!

taom- you mamish adorable!!! and thanks for the encouragment! 🙂

As long as you feel you are getting the support you need! But it can be very useful to have someone lets say on Shabbos when you can’t use the computer you can walk over to their house on Shabbis and just know you have a home away from home you chap me?

also it is very special of you that you can be open about a problem you have in general. many young people tend to keep things locked in and this can be detrimental to their overall spitiral and mental growth! so shkoyach! stay strong my friend 🙂

    OUR-

Hey, you’re great at inflating my self esteem:)

It would be nice to have some normal place to hang out sometimes… My house is NOT NORMAL these days. Never was, really, but now it’s like extreme. And I really can’t deal with it! BH, my dad left yesterday- he’s going on a week long trip with his friends:)))))) So as of right now, my house is pretty quiet. Thank You Hashem! I really need a break… My whole family does. I’m so sick of all these nosy people asking idiotic questions about him!!! K, I can’t keep my mouth shut anymore. Basically what happened with my dad is that he was caught doing some EXTREEEEEEMLY insane things and he was arrested. The guy is nuts. I know, that’s disrespectful but seriously! And everyone is all like-

    “I’m here for you.”

or they just hug me 24/7. Yo, I’m still a normal person. Just because my dad isn’t, it doesn’t mean you can just lose all concept of social skills and HUG me all the time. Whatever. Rant over.

Shopping- I didn’t really admit the world isn’t always perfect. I kinda invited everyone to my funeral. And I know what you mean abt not having anyone to talk to… I think it’s just part of being a teen.

TAOM- first of all, we are all here for you!! 🙂 I happen to think you are very sweet and if I met you one day I’m sure we’d be besties!!

while I cannot understand the position you are in, here is my humble opinion and advice for you.

Sometimes in life, we humans who clearly do not know half of what Hashem’s greater plan is, things go awry. At one second we see clear blue skies and the next it is stormy and scary and you seem like you are not in control. And frankly, as scary as it sounds, you aren’t. But Hakadosh Baruch Hu is that comfort and that is the ultimate comfort in hard times like this!

That is not to say that you cannot control other things in your life like the people who aren’t sure how to respond, and in turn do not do so appropriatly. My advice on this part is to keep quiet to the people who you are not really close with, because they do not need to know what is happening, it is none of their buisness. furthermore, I STRONGLY (and streegeek too) encourage you to find someone in your community that understands what is happening, or even someone that doesn’t but someone older you know you can trust and confide to. I am now aware of the clear hardship you are going through, and trust me, we all have our own challenges, but you can only do so much becuase the rest is in Hashem’s hands. So I say your hishtadlus in this case should be to not share it with people you wouldn’t normally. And if they heard it from the news, say kindly “I would rather not talk about it but thank you for your concern. Let’s talk about something else.”

Remeber TAOM- you are a special person that Hashem created just right- ALL the details in your life were created just right! So do everything you can to seperate your fathers problems from your personal life. Find the friends who are willing to skip over the topic because those will be the ones you want to hold close. And remeber to enjoy your 120 shana here on olam hazeh! make sure your soaking up every waking minute with positive things 🙂 I know you can do it! you were created with tzelem elikom! you have Godly powers within you! YOU CAN DO ANYTHING!

Wow, my family I thought was crazy!!!!!! It pretty is and not bad enough that its going to the police yet….

TAOM, look they dont know what to say to you, the most thing they can do is be there for you, and maybe if you tell EVERYTHING like EEVERYTHING to one girl your age, you’ll overwhelm her. That happened to me. But the close people in your life care about you! If they are avoiding you, it means they dont want to hurt you and have no idea what to say and are trying to figure out what to do. They are orobobly crying each night wondering what to do. If they are acting like everything is normal its cuz they think you need normalnacy in your life, which is true but they still need to aknoledge something is going on. If they are hugging you 24/7 they think that is what you need, and I would need that if I were you.

Trust in Hashem and tell him everything, direct all your tears to him!

And remember we are always here for you!!!!

Find someone to talk with in the real life, I know I sound like a hyoercrit but I cant find someone cuz I cant trust anyone anymore! Everyone just goes behinfmd my back. 🙁

Anyway, its also a good idea to listen to the older teens cuz they have more expirience sometimes, but also me, cuz Im your age so you get a prespective of kids our age too.

    Im davening for you!!!!!!

    *HUGS*

    Remember Hashem LOVES YOU 24/7/365

And thanks for your post it was so sweet and shoppingy! I love your personality… You’re making me want to move to Israel so I can meet you! About the thing you said that I shouldn’t tell any one gal our age the whole sob story- I can relate. That happened to me soooooo many times over the years.
